YOGA FOR : BACKACHE
Dhanurasana :
This yoga is useful in curing backache.
- Bend both legs at the knees and raise the head and chest.
- Catch hold of the legs firmly at the ankles with respective hands.
- Pull the ankles upward white inhaling, lifting the thighs off the floor. Only the abdomen and pelvis remain in contact with the floor. The spine looks like stretched bow.
- Try to keep the knees together and retain the pose for six seconds.
- Release the hold on the ankles when exhaling and stretch the legs fully.
