YOGA FOR : INSOMNIA
Sarvangasana :
This yoga is useful in fighting piles, insomnia and tonsillitis.
- Lie with supine body at full length, arms on respective sides. Take a deep breath.
- Fold the legs, slowly exhale and with a little jerk, raise the lower part of the body, pushing up from buttocks and holding the waist with hands.
- Balance entire body weight upon the palms, the elbows, the neck and back of the head.
- Fold the legs at the knee or raise the leg, whatever is convenient and easily manageable.
- Maintain the position with slow, normal rhythmic breathing for not more then two minutes.
- Slowly come back to the starting position with inhalation.
